Attribute declaration

There are three types of declarations attribute declarations (2), method declarations (3) and constructor declaration (4). An attribute declaration is defined by the scope determined by the list of packages, classes, followed by the attribute identifier. A method declaration consists in its name followed by a list of formal parameter (pi,p2,...pj). Constructors have a similar declaration. [Pg.71]

Metadata is associated with individual nodes (rather than globally with the entire argument). Each node has a set of associated attributes, which are declared and can be parameterized over parameters of specific types. Nodes have instances of attributes with values that comply with the type of the parameter (which can itself depend on the node). In general, we draw these parameter values from a domain ontology (See Fig. 3 in Section 5, for an example). The grammar of an attribute declaration is ... [Pg.299]

A s)mthesizer therefore needs to give the designer the ability to override the built-in functions and operators. This is often done through an attribute declaration in the entity, such as ... [Pg.175]

Usually, supported attributes are provided in a package. This will contain the Attribute Declaration statement for each attribute. Having made this package visible through a Use clause. Attribute Specification statements associate or decorate an item with the attribute and value. For example, if the... [Pg.236]

Both the attribute declaration and specification for ENUMJTYPE ENCODING are used in the package STATE DEFN. They are placed in a package in the first place because some s)mthesizers will not allow attribute declarations anywhere except in a package or an entity. More details of die synthesis attributes discussed above and others are contained in Box 7.6. [Pg.238]

An attribute dedaration is used to create a user-defined attribute. S)mthesis tool vendors use attribute dedarations to create attributes that pass information from the design units to the synthesizer, optimizer, etc. (see Box 7.6). As user-defined attributes will not be understood by these tools, their use is limited and often they are not supported for synthesis. An attribute declaration has the syntax ... [Pg.239]

Tool vendors usually provide a number of additional attributes lhat enable the designer to interface more easily with fhe synthesis and optimization enviroiunent. These attributes allow information to be placed inside the description diat relates to how a design or any of its labelled items, such as a process, should be compiled or optimized. Assigning an attribute with a specification is discussed in Box 7.5. The following are typical examples of the attribute declarations provided by syndiesis tool vendors. Most of these are tool vendor-spe-dfic so the reader should check his or her own documentation. [Pg.240]

The modules are attributed in function of the different levels of risk inherent to the products. After having applied the modules applicable to a given product, the manufacturer issues a declaration of conformity and affixes the CE-marking. [Pg.939]

Writing the invariant within the type box is equivalent to writing it separately after a context operator. The predefined notation directly captures certain common invariants. Declaring the course attribute of a Session to be of type Course in Figure 2.5 is equivalent to... [Pg.97]

The text version also works for nongraphical things such as attributes and inline declarations such as x Sorted List. UML would treat this as an uninterpreted string. [Pg.389]

In the 15 years since these criteria were promulgated by declaration, it will be evident that most vaccines are still administered parenterally with the exception of polio and typhoid vaccines. In many ways this can be attributed to the physicochemical characteristics of vaccine antigens themselves, which are large molecules susceptible to proteolytic degradation, denaturation, and rapid clearance from plasma. Some combination vaccines are available which reduce the number of injections. However, the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) combination vaccine has gained an unsafe image in the popular press, mainly due to a reputed link with autism in some children that as yet remains unproven scientifically. In some quarters the autism was associated with the use of thiomersalate as a mercurial preservative in multidose injections but, again, this supposition remains unproven. [Pg.312]

In view of the supposedly proven pseudo-science in the Rudolf expert report, the newspapers avoided the words expert report or printed them in quotation marks and also characterized it as a hack-job (StZ, November 23, 1994). However, on that date, November 23, 1994, the court declared that it did not consider itself competent to decide to what extent the expert report satisfied scientific criteria. It avoided the issue of scientific evidence by attributing to Rudolf the preface and epilogue written by Remer s friend in Remer s version and sentenced Rudolf on that basis. [Pg.396]

Sideline. Newton declared (with false modesty ) that his achievements were possible because "he was walking on the shoulders of giants" his competitor, Robert Hooke, was a hunchback That same remark, nani gigantium humeris insidentes," was not original with Newton It was first attributed to Bernard of Chartres (twelfth century). [Pg.46]

Transpositional symmetries are declared by appending the attribute ((dummy indices=opi(transposed dummy indices)=...= opn (transposed dummy indices)), where op. ..opn may be either "CONJG", or "-CONJG". For example, the two-particle reduced density matrix of quantum chemistry would be declared... [Pg.242]

Notice that the compiler construes all possible combinations of symmetries from the minimal set given in the declaration, and stores only a set of nonredundant elements. Where noncontradictory, one of the sparsity attributes may be combined with a symmetry attribute. [Pg.242]

The credit for inspiring nanotechnology usually is attributed to physicist Richard Phillips Feynman (1918-1988), who shared the 1956 Nobel Prize in physics for his contributions to the field of quantum electrodynamics. In December of 1959, during an after-dinner lecture at the annual meeting of the American Physical Society, Feynman declared that... [Pg.531]

I have learnd from experience, that different parts, of different properties, are mix d in with all such bodies whilst these parts have respectively their own peculiar powers of attracting, repelling, and changing themselves many other ways. We must not, therefore, attribute more to mechanical power, than the Author of nature has given to natural bodies nor extend this power beyond its proper bounds, in accounting for chemical operations. This declaration is forc d from me, by the regard I bear to truth and may clear me from the imputation of pretending to explain chemical operations upon mechanical principles. [Pg.127]

As for me, said Hermes, I declare that I will not only create the nature of mankind, but I will make them the gifts of Wisdom, Temperance, Persuasion, and Tmth, and will give myself ceaselessly to Invention moreover, I will always assist the mortal life of men bom under my signs (for the signs attributed to me by the Father and Creator are at least sensible and intelligent), and all the more so, when the movement of the planets that mle them shall be in accord with each one s natural energy. [Pg.79]

The first two semantic relationships establish the structure of a modeling element they allow the declaration of the attributes and methods of a modeling element. Although all object-oriented systems possess, by definition, the first two semantic relationships and no special computer-aided provisions are needed, they have been included here for completeness. [Pg.27]
