Archival prints

However, by using a single-solution, sulfur-reacting toner such as Kodak T-la Hypo-Alum Sepia Toner or Kodak T-8 Polysulfide Toner (Formulas Toners Brown Toners) it is possible to convert the entire print at once. When this is done, the print cannot degenerate any further and instead of a ruined print the result is an archival print.

The following procedure is the one I use and is only one of several. It will help to produce prints that are archival by a photographer s definition. In any event, you would be well served to remember the opening quote when attempting to create archival prints and negatives. 

When the distance exceeds a given tlireshold, the printed signals is submitted to the human analyst. Otherwise, it is archived automatically. 

The principal use of CD-ROM and WORM disks is essentially substitution of data storage on paper or microfiche. Conservative estimates number the worldwide use for data storage by paper at 91%, microfiche at 4%, and in electronic media at 5%, of which 4% are magnetic and 1% optical media (18). CD-ROM is being used as an electronic counterpart to print media the WORM disk presents itself more and more as a substitute for paper to store archivable, forgery-proof documents. 

Present-day nomenclature is partly the result of the conflict and interplay of two functions the need to communicate in speech and on the printed page on the one hand, and the need for archival storage of information and its efficient, reliable retrieval. The former function came first, and laid the basis for the nomenclature most commonly used even today, and gave birth to a wealth of trivial names (i.e. names that give little or no information on structure). These were often coined on the basis of the origin of the substance, as in the case of collidine, obtained from distillation of bones in glue factories, or were derived from a special characteristic, as in the case of skatole, which has a fecal odor. Such names are short and generally euphonious, but they must be memorized they cannot be deduced from the structure. 

The other major properties computed by a frequency job are the polarizability and hyperpolarizability tensors. Normally, the polarizability is printed at the end of the output, just before the archive entry ...
