Archival Print Procedure

The following procedure is the one I use and is only one of several. It will help to produce prints that are archival by a photographer s definition. In any event, you would be well served to remember the opening quote when attempting to create archival prints and negatives. 

Must specify the contents of the audit trail and the procedures for printing, reviewing, and archiving the audit log. 

Printing out electronic records and archiving them in paper format will be an option when only a limited amount of data has to archived, and there is no need to maintain the processeable data. In this case, printing and signing off for the correctness of the printout may be a valid and efficient procedure.
