Architectural Standard Details for Nitroglycerin, Nitrocellulose, Single Base Multibase Facilities at Army Ammunition Plants,... [Pg.84]

The purpose of the architectural standard details is for use in the design and construction of facilities used in the manufacture, maintenance, inspection, and storage of explosive materials. To this end two objectives were sought. The requirements for this program were to develop standard details for various methods of construction utilized in Army ammunition plants today and to develop details... [Pg.69]

Note that glazing is acrylic plastic to comply with the AMC Safety Manual requirements. Screws for attachment of wood door frames and vision panel stops are countersunk and caulked. Joints not taped are sealed with caulking. It should be noted here that Sunflower AAP has had major problems with exterior wood doors exposed to the weather. A recurring problem has been the delamination of wood door materials. This may require a change to a more weather-resistant door material such as fiberglass reinforced plastic. Details for doors of this material are included in the standard architectural details. [Pg.73]

The SPL specification is a document markup standard that specifies the structure and semantics for the regulatory requirements and content of product labeling. The SPL is derived from the HL7 clinical document architecture (CDA), which specifies the structure and semantics of "clinical documents" for the purpose of exchange. This specification includes a detailed descriphon of the information model for structured product labeling objects as well as the XML representahon of that model. The information model is based on the HL7 reference informahon model (RIM) and uses the HL7 Version 3 Data Types, (see footnote ) This version of the specificahon focuses on drug product labeling. [Pg.482]

The choice of architecture also influences the maximum clock frequency of the CU. This has not been analyzed in detail, but there is a clear tendency that the delay is decreased as the area decreases. This is particularly true for PL A implementations, but also standard cell implementations become faster as the area decreases. [Pg.218]

Brick Earih. An impure loamy clay, particularly that of the Pleistocene of the Thames Valley, used for brickmaking. Brick Shapes. See Fig. 1 and the further references in Appendix A. The German didier CO publishes a detailed coding system for refractory bricks and shapes, which is a de facto standard in Europe. Brick Slip. A fired ceramic architectural facing varying from about 13 to 38mm in thickness and produced either as a unit itself or cut from a larger unit. [Pg.39]

It is better to start the discussions with Fig. VII/1.4-5-1 from where it is clear that just by adding devices in redundant mode, the safety availability does not always increase, as there are pros and cons in each of the applications as shown in the first case, chances are more for spurious trip, in the second case, it is the other way round. So, a detailed study of various redundancy modes will be necessary. Dual configuration shown appears to be safe, but could also be the root cause of spurious trips due to random failures. Now the aim is to find advantages and disadvantages of implementation of various hardware redundancy architectures (industry specific and international standards). It is very useful to understand a few terms such as redundancy,... [Pg.508]

At least two levels of design ate recommended the architecture of the software and its detailed design (for more detailed recommendations, see Section 5.1.1 of Ref [4], and standards and technical books on software engineering). The required attributes of software design are discnssed in paras 8.5-8.12. [Pg.46]

This paper focuses on this gap between the automatic batch control, process management systems and other logistics operational systems. A framework contemplating the integration of the different control levels in batch and hybrid scenarios has been created. First, batch control is characterised following current standards. Then, the control model is described in detail. Next, the elements and architecture for integration of control and production management are introduced. Finally, the results obtained in a prototype environment (PROCEL) are presented. Also, the application to industrial case scenarios is indicated. [Pg.502]
