Apache web server

The apache web server can also interact with multiple databases events are generated throughout all the company, and this requires the ability to remotely interact with data sources. Also, we want the overhead of transporting data to be small, which implies that a central web server will interact with multiple event data bases. In addition, we need to support different groups located in multiple places that need access to the console. Event gathering can store events in multiple databases. In addition to event databases, each installation uses an administrative database for storing the properties of the web site, users, roles and processes. All background processes connect to the administrative database to obtain information about the event databases they need to process (enrichment, correlation, etc.). 

Installation of the presentation application is considered an installation of the application server. It installs and configures an apache web server and creates an administrative database. The administrative database holds the configuration of the web site (users, roles, graphics, languages, events databases) and the configuration of the enrichment and correlation processes with respect to each event database known to the web site. An event database does not need to reside on the presentation server, but is specified using a connection string. An event database can be accessed from multiple presentation sites. 

Pipeline Pilot is deployed as a client/server system, with desktop PCs connecting to a central service-oriented architecture deployed on an Apache Web server. The server maintains a repository of components and protocols, in addition to its role as a computational engine. Jobs are spawned to run protocols and provide feedback to the client. These facilities are exposed as standard Web services. 

The proposed framework can be considered as a multimedia distributed system that complies with the extended LAMP architecture (Figure 1) and consists of the following blocks Apache web server that allows the end-users to access the collaborative work services, MySQL database server that stores the information regarding the end-users.

Executable environment for Learning by Doing (xLBD) The xLBD is a solution to enable the remote execution of EKRs through a web service approach. xLBD uses several software applications and languages (Apache Tomcat web server, Java, AKM web services and Phoenix Integration Model Center ) to deploy EKRs as web services. Users can access and execute the software remotely, so they do not require a dedicated installation of software on their desktops. 

A large number of web sites are built using PHP and MySQL on Linux platforms with Apache as the web server. This combination is known as the LAMP architecture. Apache, PHP and MySQL are also available on Windows platforms giving rise to combinations like WAMP (Windows, Ap>ache, MySQL and PHP) and WIMP (where the IIS web server is used instead of Apache). Even though LAMP is a very popular architecture there has been little work to characterize and benchmark the architecture, especially at an application level. 

GeneDesign requires Perl 5 (6). A web server is required if you wish to use a graphical interface we highly recommend Apache (7). Both Perl and Apache are widely distributed, well documented, and in some cases installed by operating system default, so we will not discuss their installation. The following directions assume that at least Perl 5.8 and Apache 2 are used. 

At this point, the command line scripts are ready to go, but if you want to serve GeneDesign to web browsers, there is more to do. If you are using git, you want to preserve version control and configure your Apache installation to serve GeneDesign from your repository by editing your web server s configuration file (see Note 3). Let /path/to/your/GeneDesign.git be the absolute path to your git repository. Make sure that the repository is accessible by the web server s user (see Note I). 

Given the widespread use of the Internet and the boom in website design, it is predictable that web-based lessons in HTML will become one of the major media in online learning. With the help of operating systems (e.g. LINUX Redhat), web servers (e.g. Apache), system databases (e.g. MySQL) and programming knowledge (e.g. JAVA and PHP) (Sun et al. 2008), virtual lessons of construction safety can become a reality.
