Analog sampling

Dwivedi and Arnold (89) determined the thiazole moiety in thiamine by derivatizing first to form the TMS analog. Samples were chromatographed on 3% OV-17 on Chromosorb G (DMCS treated) at 110°C. Vitamin D2 (calciferol) and its analog Vitamin have been the subject of many applications in GC analyses. The compounds have been derivatized as the TMS analog and chromatographed on OV-17 (90) and SE-30 (91) and on 3% silicone on Celite after treatment with antimony trichloride (92). Several references to vitamine E (oi-tocopherol) are included in the review by Kern et al. (39) on GLC determinations of pharmaceuticals and drugs. The papers were then exposed to the sunlight for 14 h. The color changes (fading) of the papers after exposure were recorded on a Minolta CR-300 colorimeter and the corresponding AE values were compared for each sample (Table 3). To check the influence of the way the dye is attached to the MCM-41 surface, sample C was also checked for its anti fading properties in its unwashed state (sample LRB/CJ and compared to the washed analog (sample LRB/C,)( Table 3). 

After establishing the impact of MW upon the hydrolysis, we have compared the weight-loss kinetic curves for PLA and PHB films with the relatively comparative MW = 400 and 350 kDa, respectively, and the same film thickness. Similar to other quantitative analytical approaches, the area under the spectral lines is proportional to the number of Mossbauer atoms detected. Practically, in one approach, a calibration graph of the area value of a series of external analogous samples with known concentrations would be constructed and compared with that of the unknown samples. In another approach a graph of the area value of unknown sample added with analogous samples with a series of known concentration can be drawn for calibration. Both approaches are common methods employed in instrumental analysis.
