Process alignment

The crystallinity can be dismpted by substituents on the chains that interfere with the alignment process. Amorphous nylons are produced by deUberately engineering this effect, eg, nylon-NDT/INDT (also known as PA-6-3-T or PA-TMDT), which uses trimethyl-substituted hexamethylenediamine isomers combined with terephthaUc acid. [Pg.267]

General observations on the alignment process between shafts... [Pg.147]

Note that it is important for final drive-train alignment to compensate for actual operating conditions because machines often move after start up. Such movement is generally the result of wear, thermal growth, dynamic loads, and support or stmctural shifts. These factors must be considered and compensated for during the alignment process. [Pg.915]

Once soft-foot is removed, it is important to use the correct tightening procedure for the hold-down nuts. This helps ensure that any unequal stresses that cause the machine to shift during the tightening procedure remain the same throughout the entire alignment process. The following procedure should be followed ... [Pg.920]

To ensure that correct readings are obtained with the alignment apparatus, it is necessary to determine the amount of indicator sag present in the equipment and to correct the bottom or 6 o clock readings before starting the alignment process. [Pg.920]

Data recording One of the most common errors made with this technique is reversing the 3 and 9 o clock readings. Technicians have a tendency to reverse their orientation to the machine train during the alignment process. As a result, they often reverse the orientation of the recorded data. [Pg.922]

These microprocessor-based systems automatically calculate correction factors. If the fixtures are properly mounted and the shafts are rotated to the correct positions, the system automatically calculates and displays the appropriate correction for each foot of the movable machine-train component. This feature greatly increases the accuracy of the alignment process. [Pg.924]

Because diffusion of impurities in SiC is impractical, SiC DIMOSFET cannot be fabricated using self-aligned processes adopted from the Si industry. On the other... [Pg.168]

Note Many of the responsibilities of the Site Teams will be changing during the transition to a more technology-aligned Process. It is important that the Site Teams maintain a leadership role and not relinquish any responsibilities until there is a clear and agreed to transfer of leadership to the Technology Teams. It is anticipated that this transition will take several years. [Pg.229]

Shape Competition and Alignment Processes in Light Au and Pt Nuclei... [Pg.324]

In conclusion, our data on high-spin states in 185 186Au and in 184 185Pt are mostly indicative of band structures and alignment processed in prolate nuclei. The oblate hi 1/2 band is observed, but is crossed at intermediate spin by what is probably a prolate hi 1/2 structure. Collective model (Nilsson) calculations of bandhead properties of the Au isotopes agree well with the observed systematics of the "intruding" I19/2 and inn proton states, calling into question the particle-hole interpretation of these states. [Pg.329]

Soft imprinting using flexible stamp has ample potential to be applied for reel-to-reel process [54, 55]. To achieve fast process in reel-to-reel device fabrication, passive alignment process between flexible stamp and substrate is needed rather than active optical alignment procedure. As a passive alignment process, lock and key mechanism was studied between flexible stamp and substrate in soft imprinting. [Pg.264]
