Technology teams

To facilitate adoption or approval of a PAT process, manufacturers may request a preoperational review of a PAT manufacturing facility and process by the PAT team by contacting the FDA Process Analytical Technology Team at PAT cder.fda. gov. ft should be noted that when certain PAT implementation plans neither affect the current process nor require a change in specifications, several options can be considered. Manufacturers should evaluate and discuss with the agency the most appropriate option for their situation. 

Note Many of the responsibilities of the Site Teams will be changing during the transition to a more technology-aligned Process. It is important that the Site Teams maintain a leadership role and not relinquish any responsibilities until there is a clear and agreed to transfer of leadership to the Technology Teams. It is anticipated that this transition will take several years. 

The two last years was marked by working diagram, the initial benchmark flowsheet. This result will enable the technological teams (chemical engineering at Marcoule, energy at Cadarache and materials at Saclay and Grenoble) to start working in on the optimisation of systems and components. 

The Parsons/Honeywell technology team uses the acronym WHEAT (water hydrolysis of explosives and agent technology) to denote its technology package for the demilitarization of assembled chemical weapons. The process is described in Figure ES-2. It consists of the following main operations ...

Combine your designers and work schedulers into technology teams ... 

But at this point, let me repeat the recommendation that I made earlier in the book give up the Tayloristic divisions, at least between designers and work schedulers, and combine them to form technology teams. 

Another suggestion for developers, designers, and work schedulers (or even better technology teams) also cuts costs and is paid much too little attention today ... 

Once a new catalyst/product has been identified for evaluation at the manufacturing facility for a commercial trial, the technology teams are expanded to include technical representatives from the polyethylene manufacturing center. These new members will be responsible for implementing the new technology at the commercial scale. For example, a new catalyst needs to be produced in large-scale catalyst preparation facilities in order to produce sufficient catalyst for a commercial trial. This commercial quantity of catalyst is then tested in pilot plant operations to produce polyethylene samples for fabrication into finished products in order to verify that the expected product grades have been produced by the catalyst that will be evaluated in a commercial reactor.
