Abstract Pressure-sensitive paint (PSP) is applied to the areodynamics measurement. PSP is optical sensor based on the luminescence of dye probe molecules quenching by oxygen gas. Block copolymers in solution of selective solvent afford the possibility to both self-assemble and adsorb onto a surface. In this research, metal colloids are adsorbed to the surface of neutral functionalized polystyrene microspheres, PSMS. The authors report on the synthesis and characterization of catalytically important noble monometallic colloids using various chemical and sonochemical methods.
