Academic achievement attainment

From the viewpoint of science history and research organization, establishing personal relationships for continual exchange of views between R D experts has been considered a task of vital importance. In addition to individual gray matter and academic capacity, this served as a basis for the achievements attained and, in some cases, even compensated for the lack of funds. 

Self-concept has received a great deal of attention in education and educational research. The enhancement of students self-concept is a desirable educational goal throughout the world (Burnett, Craven, Marsh, 1999). Individuals knowledge and perceptions about themselves in achievement situations refer to academic self-concept or a subject self-concept. The attainment of positive academic self-concepts has been shown to affect academic behaviors, academic choices, educational aspirations, and subsequent academic achievement (Byrne, 1984). 

Educators today, pressed by the demands to improve academic achievement, realize that their efforts to raise grades necessitate nurturing young people in all of these other ways as well. Teachers cannot effectively teach and serve as social workers, police officers, and enrichment tutors. Above ail, regardless of socioeconomic status or location, schools cannot attain their goals without the support of families and communities. 

Summary Phosfdiazene bases represent a new class of highly active non-ionic catalysts that rapidly polymerize cyclosiloxanes with equilibrium attained in very short reaction times at very low catalyst levels. To date, phosphazene base catalysts have been considered an academic curiosity because of the complicated and hazardous synthetic protocol used to prepare them. A facile synthetic process has been developed, which yields ionic phosphazene bases in three steps with an overall yield of qrproximately 75%. This is achieved through nucleophilic substitution of ionic phosphonitrilic chloride oligomers with secondary amines, followed by anion exchange. These ionic phosphazenes were found to exhibit similar reactivity in the ring-opening polymerization of cyclosiloxanes to that of the non-ionic phosphazene base. 

The fear of total nuclear war could conceivably inhibit the Soviets from using atomic weapons, if other means could achieve their purpose. We are now in a period of development of other weapons which would not carry with them the threat of total destruction, for we are subject to the same pressure as they— perhaps to greater pressure, for we are more concerned with the welfare of our people and our allies. If the Communists succeed in attaining a superiority in these new chemical and biological weapons, which we cannot match or which we cannot defend against, our nuclear strength could be of academic value.
