Charles Henrickson received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Iowa with additional study at the University of Illinois, Urbana and the University of California, Berkeley. He has authored or coauthored several widely used learning aids and laboratory manuals in chemistry as well as a textbook. Dr. Henrickson is a professor of chemistry, emeritus at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Kendra Evans is an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Detroit Mercy. Her research focuses on the development and use of automated liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry methods to investigate longterm insulin secretion dynamics. Her research interests also include the detection of pesticides in water and arrimal tissue, as well as the development of stability-indicating assays to monitor the forced degradation of pharmaceutical compoimds. Evans received aB.S. in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University and aPh.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Urriversity of Michigan. She joined the facrrlty at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2009.
