VENTILATION, SPACE HEATING AND COOLING AND PERSONAL WATER REQUIREMENTS... 

Access and water supply. All people have safe access to a sufficient quantity of water for drinking, cooking, and personal and domestic hygiene. Public water points are sufficiently close to households to allow use of the minimum water requirement.

Hydrologists have adopted the concept of a water stress index" based on an approximate minimum level of water required per capita to maintain an adequate quality of life in a moderately developed country in an arid zone. Although the indicators are only approjimate, it has been found that a country or region whose renewable fresh water availability exceeds about 1700-2000 m per person per year will suffer only occasional or local water problems. Below this threshold the lack of water begins to become a serious problem. Two rough benchmark levels have been adopted ...

In case of contact, one should immediately flush eyes or skin with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes and remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If inhaled, the person should be moved to fresh air (72). 

Any hazard which land deposition may create requires assessment with regard to the risk of injury or impairment of health to persons or animals, damage to vegetation, pollution of controlled waters including aquifers - eitlier duectly or because of water run-off, and of long-tenu accumulation, e.g. of heavy metals or persistent chemicals.
