Hard-Surface Cleaning. Products used Tor hard-surface cleaning around the home include the hand- and automatic dishwashing products, the liquid and powder floor and wall cleaners, and the abrasive scouring cleansers. 

Polyoxyethylene ester surfactants are used in both industrial and household formulations. Specific end-use product areas include textile scouring agents, softening agents, dye assistants, and lubricants emulsions and wettable powders used in agricultural pest control and home floor, rug, and wall cleaners, as well as laundering and dishwashing compositions. Specific formulations for such products can be found in the literature (3).
