Selected sphalerite grains (n=15) were mounted and analyzed by electron microprobe. Isotopic analyses of Pb were conducted on galena and sphalerite grains at Carleton University. Sulphur isotope analyses were performed on sphalerite powders at the University of Ottawa.

Conway transferred to the University of Ottawa in 1955 and remained there for the rest of his career. He published near to 400 papers whilst in Ottawa and it s interesting to mention a few of them.

David P. Wilkinson received his BASc degree in chemical engineering from the University of British Columbia in 1978 and his PhD degree in chemistry from the University of Ottawa in 1987. In 2004, after 20 years of industrial experience. Dr. Wilkinson was awarded a Tier 1 Canada research chair in clean energy and fuel cells in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He presently maintains a joint appointment with the university and the Canadian National Research Council Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation.
