There are several basic guidelines to follow when cleaning a column. These rules apply regardless of the type of TSK-GEL column that is being cleaned. [Pg.134]

Dehydration of TSK-GEL columns can result from improper use or during long-term storage. This condition can be remedied by the following procedure. [Pg.135]

The TSK-GEL column is a trademark of Tosoh Haas Co. Ltd and the Waters Insulin HMWP column is a trademark of Waters Corporation. The author thanks the book s editor Chi-san Wu, the assigned peer reviewer, and the Eli Lilly and Company reviwers John Towns, Ralph Riggin, and James Kelley for their assistance, time, and professional comments. [Pg.536]

Chromatography System A Hewlett-Packard 1050 Liquid Chromatography System (HP 1050) with a Quaternary Pump was used for separations. The separations were monitored with a Hewlett-Packard 1050 Variable Wavelength Detector (280 nm) and an autosampler was used to introduce samples into the column. For this application a TSK-Gel column (SP-5PW 07161, TosoHaas, Stuggart, Germany) with dimensions 7.5 cm X 7.5 mm was used. Data were acquired with the Hewlett-Packard ChemStation software which controls the HP1050 Liquid Chromatograph. [Pg.11]

A few precautionary measures will ensure the efficient operation of TSK gel columns ... [Pg.228]
