TRYCOL Ethoxylated Alkylphenols

TRYCOL Ethoxylated Alkylphenols are nonionic polyoxyethylene surfactants prepared commercially by the condensation or addition of ethylene oxide to alkylphenol at the site of its active hydrogen. [Pg.245]

HENKEL CORP. EMERY GROUP TRYCOL Ethoxylated Alkylphenols  [Pg.361]

The TRYCOL Ethoxylated Alkylphenols have chemical and physical properties similar to the TRYCOL Ethoxylated Alcohols. They are used as dispersants, solubilizers, coupling agents, wetting agents, leveling agents and dyeing assistants. [Pg.361]

TRYCOL Ethoxylated Alkylphenols are also very stable against hydrolysis by acids and alkalies and therefore are useful as components of acidic or alkaline formulated products. [Pg.361]

Is an aqueous solution of a POE (30) Octylphenol that is used as an emulsifier and wetting agent. [Pg.361]

The pore morphology of microemulsion-based solid polymer depends on the initial microstructure of the microemulsion as determined by the type of surfactant and cosurfactant in addition to composition. Some examples of nonionic surfactants used for microemulsions are Emsorb 6916 (sorbitan monolaurate), Neodol 91-5 (primary alcohol ethoxylate), and Trycol (polyoxyethylene alkylphenol), while sodium dodecyl sulfonate is commonly used as the anionic surfactant.
