Trays and Rack Washer

Perform Installation Qualification. Verify equipment identification, required documents, utilities, components material, drawings, and manuals. 

Perform general operational controls verification testing. Check header drive circulation pump, rinse pump, detergent pump, exhaust fan, and drying fan. 

Operate system throughout the range of operating design specifications or range of intended use at fixed speed. Verify switches and push-buttons and calibration requirements. 

Verify that all safety devices of tray/rack washer are operating as specified in the manual. 

Verify that recommended lubricants are used during machine operation.

Be certain there are no residual chemicals on the drying rack. The best way to clean residual fixer from a washer, print drying racks, trays, sink, and other surfaces is with a solution of common household bleach diluted 1 4 with water (200.0 ml of bleach with 800.0 ml of water). Sponge the bleach solution on and wash it off with fresh water.
