Thielavia terrestris

The first PMO structure that was resolved is that of Cel61B from Trichoderma reesei By now, five other PMO structures have been studied, i.e. four from ascomycete fungi [Thermoascus aurantiacus, Thielavia terrestris and Neurospora crassa ) and more recently one from the basidiomycete fungus Phanerochaete chrysosporium. Their overall fold will be discussed first, after which a close-up of their active site will be presented. [Pg.81]
