Teeth sodium hypochlorite

Teeth Sodium hypochlorite is used to irrigate root canals in dentistry and can cause many adverse reactions [SEDA-34,380]. Due to an error in administration, sodium hypochlorite was injected directly into the tissues, which caused intensive pain, a profuse oedema and h52peraemia on the left side of the face of the patient [65 ]. Pain associated with facial swelling was reported in another case of accidental injection of sodium h52pochlorite into the soft tissues [66 ]. 

Bovine lower jaws were obtained from a local slaughterhouse. Teeth were extracted, adherent soft tissue was removed with a scalpel, and the teeth were incubated in a sodium hypochlorite solution (technical grade) for 2-3 hours. The tooth crowns and roots were separated with a water-cooled circular saw and the roots were kept in tapwater at 4°C until further use. 

Before the family leaves the house to go to the holiday picnic, the kids are sent oflF to brush their teeth and change into clean clothes. Their toothpaste contains sodium fluoride, a common cavity-fighting ionic compound. The white shirts in their red, white, and blue outfits were bleached with the ionic compound sodium hypochlorite, the stains on their red pants were removed by potassium oxalate, and dyes were fixed to their blue hats by aluminum nitrate. 

Teeth EDTA has been used to irrigate root canals in dentistry and can cause canal wall erosion, but only after prolonged use of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) as the initial irrigant the associated reduction in dentine flexural strength and increased tooth surface strain might make teeth more susceptible to vertical fracture [33 ,34 ]. The effects are not attributable to demineralization [35 ].
