Systems Engineering Management Plan

Annex B provides a template to help an enterprise prepare a systems engineering management plan. 

Title Page. Includes the words systems engineering management plan, the docmnent control number for the project, organization involved, and the document title and/or applicable system. Figure B.l provides an example of a title page with the necessary information identified.

Prepare the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), the System Safety Management Plan (SSMP), and tailor the Quality, Configuration, Risk, and Information Management Plans to meet the needs of the project.

The results obtained should also be used to calculate and confirm the cooling system volume, rate of evaporation, and cycles of concentration. Quite often the results show that the initial site-data information obtained, and subsequent proposals for water treatment volumes and costs, bear little resemblance to actual practice. To implement a system safety program, the personnel involved have to be properly trained. A comprehensive training program is particularly important until system safety courses are established in the curricula of engineering, management, and safety majors in colleges and universities. A recommended training plan is included in Chapter 9. 

System safety program plan A description of the planned methods to be used by the contractor to implement the tailored requirements of this standard, including organizational responsibilities, resources, methods of accomplishment, milestones, depth of effort, and integration with other program engineering and management activities and related systems (MIL-STD-882).
