Oxamyl is a systemic insecticide/nematocide for control of flea beetles, leafminers, and nematodes on field crops, vegetables, and fruits. Its oral LD50 in rats is 5.4 mg/kg. 

Uses systemic insecticide, acaricide, and nematocide with contact and stomach action also used as cholinesterase inhibitor. 

Aldicarb is a systemic insecticide/acaricide/nematocide used against aphids, mites, Colorado potato beetles, thrips, boll weevils, leafhoppers, wireworms, leafminers, nematodes, and many others in citrus, cotton, ornamentals, peanuts, soybeans, sugar beets, sugar cane, tobacco, etc. Its oral LD50 in rats is 1 mg/kg.

Carbofuran is a systemic insecticide, acaricide and nematocide with a very broad spectrum of action. It is toxic to warm-blooded organisms, its ld, value for rats being 11 mg/kg. This disadvantage is somewhat counterbalance by its rapid decomposition in plant organisms, the half-time of decomposition being less than 5 days. 

Compound 47 is similar to aldicarb (38), but it has a somewhat weaker systemic insecticidal action and, contrary to aldicarb, it has no nematocidal effect. 

Reports are available of the screening of 1,2,4-thiadiazoles459 460 as systemic insecticides. 5-Alkoxy-3-trichloromethyl-1,2,4-thiadiazoles, the proved fungicides, have also insecticidal and acaricidal properties.461 1,2,4-Thiadia-zoles may act as chemosterilants462 5-amino-3-methyl(or methylthio)-1,2,4-thiadiazole are found to have this action in the housefly.463,464 5-Chloro-3-ethylthio-1,2,4-thiadiazole has nematocidal activity.465...
