Subject oriented

Other interesting work has been done in the area of subject-oriented programming, which strives to compose implementation classes that define different views, or roles, of some objects. 

The subjective model of containment is unique to our approach. It is related to the idea of subject-oriented programming [Harrison93], which is focused more in composing 00 implementations.

Subject-Oriented Data warehouses contain data in a structured way reflecting the business objectives of a department or a company. The subject orientation supports the analysis and the production of knowledge. 

The next step is to weight in a logical and subject-oriented way selected attribute-groups differently. For example One might be more interested in parameters than in chemicals or verse visa. 

In segmentation a document is divided into separate subdocuments, which are often called segments . This is carried out in such a way that within each segment an especially close relation exists between the concepts that co-occur there. In IDC extensive use is made of segmentation, particularly to represent the especially important relation between a substance and all its properties recorded or implied in the document under consideration, or, more generally, between a substance and its attributes. Thus, this relation is represented from a subject-oriented view and is independent of the casualities of the natural language mode of expression encountered in a document. 

Similarly well founded would be a subject-oriented use of links (i.e., independent of natural language).

The fifth volume in this series covers the literature published during 1976 and 1977. The format differs slightly from that of previous volumes in that Dmgs, Food Constituents, and Agricultural and Industrial Chemicals are treated in eight product-oriented specialist chapters, and objective material not covered ordinarily by these chapters is organised into five subject-oriented chapters.

The search for subject-oriented terms concerning the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis will be abandoned here. The Index Guide also contains a cross-reference to the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis which leads to the Chemical Substance Index, namely the entry carbon monoxide reactions, hydrogenation of (Fig. 44). The addition of reactions serves as a reminder that the abstracts about carbon monoxide are assigned to various subgroups by qualifiers and categories.
