Shared set

The Hopkins team assumed from the outset that safety interventions could only take root if the front line staff were aware of the hazards patients faced and a need for change. A positive safety culture was regarded as essential, by no means sufficient to produce change but a necessary foundation. The safety critical attitudes, beliefs and behaviours need to be embedded at all levels of the organization, so that as far as possible everyone begins with a shared set of assumptions. 

This paper presents a modification of BMDs, called positive BMDs (p BMDs), that allows to apply dynamic reordering techniques. Based on this extension, the presented DD package supports local exchange of variables even if different graph types share sets of variables. With the exception of BMDs and K BMDs, local variable reordering is supported for all graph types mentioned above.

Annotate operators with sets-to-be-deleted. These are the sets of operators which are elements of shared-sets, sets of operators which are implemented using the same physical operators. Shared-sets are calculated by VII or given to AOC directly by the user. The sets-to-he-deleted are those sets whose elements all appear earlier in ordered-comps i.e. sets whose effects on the schedule have been fully accounted for. 

Initialize active-sets to be nil. Active-sets are shared sets currently active at a certain position in the scheduling of ordered-comps. 

Each f-vector has associated with it a con fig-vector which is a vector of shared-set identification numbers. Config-vector gives the configuration, i.e. cost chosen, for all shared sets that this f-vector is dependent on. Compatible = T if the config-vectors associated with the f-vectors of f-comb are compatible i.e. have the same configuration for shared-sets which they are mutually dependent on. 

Table 2 shows the final result having total cost of 5,331,000. Combined running time of the Common Lisp coded UPPER-BOUND and AOC algorithms was 56 minutes on a SUN4. In this example, all the operators except one were in shared sets which implies that extensive stage jamming was in effect In this special case... 

Pieztinka (2011) offers the Sony Walkman as an example of a product platform. Sony included customer segments as assets, and created three product platforms to build miniature Walkman, to create a new market for hi-fi enthusiasts, and to build models for price sensitive customers. Each of these platforms includes a shared set of modules - motor, tape, and drive. Sony added attributes such as radio, remote-control, and music-search to differentiate the products.

Alternative healthcare was itself fragmented into many different disciplines. What makes the term appropriate was not a shared set of practices or practitioners but rather a common outsider status. Each tradition of alternative health care could be called its own discipline or movement. Sick bodies enigmatically reacting to the built environment aggregated into what I will call the mcs movement.
