As new data become available and is supplied by an investigator, updating of the data files is done. Examples of new information are records of new strains, additional test information bn old strains, recent publications, isolation and/or accession of strains, etc. Lists of culture collections, literature references as in the U. S. National Library of Medicine, synonyms, other systems of taxonomy, whether in French, Russian, Japanese, or other languages can be entered into the microbiological data bank as it is presently designed. [Pg.4]

The main collection of translated Russian literature in Great Britain is held by the National Lending Library which receives over 200 translated journals including abstract journals and has a vast collection of translated books and individual articles, including microfilm copies of those deposited in the Special Libraries Association collection. [Pg.66]
