Reuse or recycling of industrial waste

Consideration of the cost of investigating or developing methods for the re-use or recycling of industrial waste may appear prohibitive but many companies that have carried out investigations have discovered that not only do they achieve an environmental improvement but the exercise proves economically viable. 

Recovery of used oil for sale as recovered oil, or blended with new oil to produce premium grades, or as a fuel. 

The ISO 14001 EMS was designed to be compatible with ISO 9000 Quality System. Both systems share many common management principles, techniques and procedures. However, the main distinctions between the systems are described in the policies of both management systems. 

Quality Systems and Environmental Management Systems require the same attifede to achieving and maintaining standards and it is common practice to integrate the two. This can beneficially be extended to Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001). This approach has a
