Resistant Cream Polish

Use of a shoe poHsh imparts high gloss, maintains the supple hand of the leather (qv), and increases the weather resistance of the leather (3,57—59). Three general types of poHshes are produced solvent pastes, self-polishing Hquids, and emulsion creams. Solvent pastes represent ca 60% of the market (58). 

This oil is very stable and lasts for a long time without oxidizing. It was originally promoted as a substitute for spermaceti, the oil derived from whales. Most of its uses are cosmetic, in soap, shampoo, sun-tan lotions, and skin cream. Mixed with other compounds, it is useful in lubricants, candles, polish for wood and leather, and as moisture-resistant coatings. 

Formulation E2-9022A is a cream-type polish designed for use on various soft surfaces, such as vinyl, leather, rubber and plastics. This polish exhibits good gloss, and is resistant to multiple detergent washings.
