Regular development

These problems cannot always be attributed to the owner. An industrial client is not usually a regular developer of buildings, which are, in most cases, secondary to whatever process or production facility he wishes to construct. He is, after all, not engaged in the construction industry on a day-to-day basis. He should be entitled to expect good advice from the team he appoints, and to expect them to ask the right questions. But whatever the project, and however limited the owner s resources, it is vital that he is able to provide the necessary input to ensure that he gets what he wants. [Pg.45]

New types of coating are regularly developed and marketed. Before selecting such coatings the specifiers should be satisfied that the test results and practical experience is sound. [Pg.136]

An important factor to keep in mind when designing reinjection wells or systems is that eventually they will have to be redeveloped. Reinjection wells and the redevelopment of these wells unfortunately follow the law of diminishing returns. Constant reinjection of coproduced groundwater without regular development results in irreversible clogging and ultimately the abandonment of the well. [Pg.261]

Evaluation of the data obtained for regular development showed that the results of experiments involving several different emulsions and developer compositions could be expressed by the relation... [Pg.132]

C2 (Explosive). According to Schwartz(Ref)f it is a substance, closely related to TNT, with an oily base. Workers exposed to C2 regularly developed severe headache, nausea, vomitting and occasional tremors of the upper extremities within a few hours after exposure... [Pg.396]

Plane (P) 1. Regular developed in plane a. Simple plate b. Branches in sector form c. Plate with simple extensions d. Broad branches e. Simple stellar form f. Ordinary dendritic form g. Femlike h. Stellar form with plates at ends i. Plate with dendritic extensions... [Pg.51]

The rules and regularities developed in the preceding section and their adaptations to catalysis in Section 8.6 provide a good deal of information about what features a pathway or network may have, and definitely cannot have. As is generally true in kinetics, they allow possibilities to be ruled out as incompatible with observed behavior, but cannot serve to prove a compatible mechanism to be correct. Other considerations, well covered in standard texts, are called for to narrow the field. A brief survey is given here. [Pg.182]

One of the side effects of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and corticoid therapy in humans is the development or reactivation of gastroduodenal ulcers. Daily subcutaneous administration of cortisol or A -cortisol to rats for 4 days results in the regular development of gastric ulcers (38). This procedure has been adapted to testing antiulcer activity (39). There are certain differences between steroid ulcers and "natural" ulcers in localization, rate of development, and severity (40). [Pg.118]

We have conducted a preliminary comparison of the regular development efforts and the efforts required by our approach. The full results of this comparison are described in SAFE project deliverable [11] to be released at the end of 2014. It indicates that significant effort reductions during the development and integration phases are possible in some cases. In the comparison, the benefits of fulfilling the traceability and formalism requirements of the ISO 26262 could not be quantified only a more extensive evaluation in future projects allows a quantitative comparison. [Pg.286]
