Records facility

Enter the latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates of your facility. Sources of these data include EPA permits (e.g., NPDES permits), county property records, facility blueprints, and site plans. Instructions on how to develop these coordinates can be found in Appendix F. Enter only numerical data. Do not preface numbers with letters such as N or W to denote the hemisphere.

Sensors on the tree allow the control module to transmit data such as tubing head pressure, tubing head temperature, annulus pressure and production choke setting. Data from the downhole gauge is also received by the control module. With current subsea systems more and more data is being recorded and transmitted to the host facility. Assessment Phase The assessment phase aims to collect data needed to identify and analyze pollution-prevention opportunities. Assessment of the facility s waste-reduction needs includes the examination of hazardous waste streams, process operations, and the identification of techniques that often promise the reduction of waste generation. Information is often derived from obsei vations made during a facihty walk-through, interviews with employees (e.g., operators, line workers), and review of site or regulatory records. One professional organization suggests the following information sources be reviewed, as available (Ref. 7) ... 

The final audit report, action plans, progress reports, and any closure report should be retained by the facility based on the facihty record retention pohcy. Typically, these items will be retained until future audit documentation replaces them. In some cases, audit records are retained for the life of the plant. 

Are there appropriate planning, training, drills, and equipment for response to emergencies If yes, ask to review the emergency response plan and training records. Be aware that for some facilities, an acceptable plan is to evacuate and call the fire department.

Preventive maintenance on vital equipment, such as tractor units, tanks, pumps, hoses, hard arms, pipelines, and mooring facilities, should be properly scheduled, carried out and documented. This program should be separate from the regulatory inspection. Verify from records.

You must keep a copy of each report. In addition, you must keep the supporting materials used to develop the Information contained in the report. These records must be kept at the facility for a period of three years from the date of the submission and must be readily available for Inspection by EPA.
