Monitoring is normally adopted as a mechanism to check that any conditions imposed on the project are being enforced or to check the quality of the affected environment. 

The mechanical performance of equipment is likely to deteriorate with use due to wear, corrosion, erosion, vibration, contamination and fracture, which may lead to failure. Since this would threaten a typical production objective of meeting quality and quantity specifications, maintenance engineering provide a service which helps to safely achieve the production objective.

To search for the forms of potentials we are considering here simple mechanical models. Two of them, namely cluster support algorithm (CSA) and plane support algorithm (PSA), were described in details in [6]. Providing the experiments with simulated and experimental data, it was shown that the iteration procedure yields the sweeping of the structures which are not volumetric-like or surface-like, correspondingly. While the number of required projections for the reconstruction is reduced by 10 -100 times, the quality of reconstruction estimated quantitatively remained quite comparative (sometimes even with less artefacts) with that result obtained by classic Computer Tomography (CT). 

In case of some samples besides the cross sectional CT-slice also a projectional image is of interest. In these cases the test mode Digital Radiography (DR) is applied. In the DR-mode the object is not turned, but scanned horizontally and vertically. Again the very high dynamic of the detector and the mechanical accuracy of the complete system are of large benefit to the image quality. 

A standard probe (type MWB or SWB) is fixed to the probe holder and is mechanically connected to a further piezoelectric receiver. A noise generator, which is coupled to any point of the test object, provides a low frequency noise signal which is picked up by the piezoelectric receiver. The intensity of the signal allows the evaluation of the coupling quality.

The application in [24] is to celestial mechanics, in which the reduced problem for consists of the Keplerian motion of planets around the sun and in which the impulses account for interplanetary interactions. Application to MD is explored in [14]. It is not easy to find a reduced problem that can be integrated analytically however. The choice /f = 0 is always possible and this yields the simple but effective leapfrog/Stormer/Verlet method, whose use according to [22] dates back to at least 1793 [5]. This connection should allay fears concerning the quality of an approximation using Dirac delta functions. 

It is interesting to note that in a case where the same numbers of inactive and of intermediate compounds were mechanically removed (i.e., without consideration of similarity), no improvement was observed - moreover, the model quality became even worse. 

In a 2 litre bolt-head flask, equipped with an efficient mechanical stirrer, place 60-5 g. (50 ml.) of pure nitrobenzene and a solution of 30 g. of ammonium chloride in 1 litre of water. Stir vigorously and add 75 g. of a good quality zinc powder (about 90 per cent, purity) in small portions over a period of 5 minutes. The main reaction occurs about 5 minutes after the addition and the temperature rises. When the temperature reaches about 65°, add enough ice to the weU-stirred mixture to reduce the temperature to 50-55°. Filter the solution through a Buchner funnel twenty minutes after the first portion of zinc powder was introduced wash the zinc oxide residues with 600-700 ml. of boiling water.
