An Intelligent Quality Assurance Planner for Environmental Data... 

This paper describes one of these systems called IQAP, an Intelligent Quality Assurance Planner. The needs of the OSC are discussed first and how IQAP is designed to address a specific need in the integrated OSC support system. The next section describes the system inputs and outputs, respectively. Finally, there is a discussion of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques will be used to embed the expertise of experienced OSCs, field and lab personnel, and QA personnel in the development IQAP. 

Standard entry, exit, and implementation requirements could be documented in an organization s quality manual. Project planners would then select those standards that are appropriate for the current project and document their decisions in a software quality assurance plan for their project.

JOINEXCELL (from AJI - The American Joining Institute). An adhesive selection expert system for use with composite materials. The system consists of a job-planner subsystem which creates a joint schedule, complete joint description, adhesive selection, surface preparation, etc. Also a recorder for Quality Assurance criteria. JOINADSELECT is part of the expert system and identifies appropriate adhesives from 15 major classes of engineering adhesives, given information about adherends and adhesives. Databases for composite adherend properties are included.
