PUZZLE program

The construction of a well-organized personality is necessary to generate or improve resilience, and in that construction, not only school but parents are essential pieces of the puzzle. Programs like those of personal and familiar developing, psychosocial education, stress prevention, and similar are basic to help on this way. 

An important step toward the understanding and theoretical description of microwave conductivity was made between 1989 and 1993, during the doctoral work of G. Schlichthorl, who used silicon wafers in contact with solutions containing different concentrations of ammonium fluoride.9 The analytical formula obtained for potential-dependent, photoin-duced microwave conductivity (PMC) could explain the experimental results. The still puzzling and controversial observation of dammed-up charge carriers in semiconductor surfaces motivated the collaboration with a researcher (L. Elstner) on silicon devices. A sophisticated computation program was used to calculate microwave conductivity from basic transport equations for a Schottky barrier. The experimental curves could be matched and it was confirmed for silicon interfaces that the analytically derived formulas for potential-dependent microwave conductivity were identical with the numerically derived nonsimplified functions within 10%.10...

CLOSE, and READ. Abbreviations, such as I for INVENTORY and N for NORTH, are easier for the player to remember and use. Allowing the use of equivalent alternatives, like GET and TAKE—which should mean the same thing—can reduce player frustration. Remember, the difficulties in an adventure should come from the logical puzzles, not from figuring out how to talk to the program. 

Following your selection, the program constructs a puzzle and displays it at the upper-left corner of the screen. Your job is to match that puzzle in the workspace at the lower-right corner of the screen. What s more, you try to solve the puzzle in as little time as possible. A timer ticks away as you work. There s no limit to how much time you can take, but the timer lets you compare your progress with a previous performance or against another player if you wish. Your fastest time during the current session will be displayed on the screen. 

When you succeed in correctly matching all the rows, the program automatically signals that you ve solved the puzzle. Then you can play again if you like. 

A lot like a jigsaw puzzle, there s only one way this puzzle can be properly assembled. We had a real wow moment when we saw that our computer program could generate a database of all the input material and just pop out the answer ...
