Professionalization Hungary

The pricing and reimbursement of medicines cire still special issues in Hungary. Until 1997, legal (prescription) and reimbursement status were not fully separated and both were specified by the Ministry of Health. Application of a more restricted prescription status for expensive medicines was not uncommon. Since 1997, the legal status is specified, applying professional criteria exclusively, by the regulatory authority when the MA is issued. 

Other provisions regulate that when editing the Hungarian Pharmacopoeia, the European Pharmacopoeia must be accepted. Environmental rules must be taken into consideration when disposing of pharmaceuticals. Professional information on medicines to doctors amd phcirmacists (advertising to professionals) may be performed only by physicians or pharmacists. Medicine donations to and from Hungary must be authorized by the MRA. 

In most professional microwave ovens, power is regulated according to the set temperature, which is measured inside the HIER buffer. Some of these are complete histological microwave workstations and incorporate both large scale, rapid tissue processing under vacuum as well as HIER applications. Such instruments include, e.g. the Hostos Pro from Milestone Sri. (Sorisole, Italy) and the Meditest 800-3 series from Meditest Kft. (Budapest, Hungary). 

The author dedicates his discussions in the text on, and references to, oncolytic viruses, in this article, to the memory of his medical school friend Laszlo K. Csatdry, who devoted the last decades of his professional life for the treatment of patients with incurable cancers ( unconventionally , as the need dictated) with inoculations of a British isolate of an attenuated Newcastle Disease Virus, imported to Hungary, which he renamed MTH ( More than Hope , without revealing its real origin). This virus was professionally purified and concentrated for him in preparation for clinical use in Budapest, Hungary (it was not licensed in the USA) (Ref. [71]). 

It can be seen that MKL was, during the period investigated, a very interesting and many-sided professional journal. It was, in the first place, intended to meet the demands of the members of MKE. However, it can be said that through its versatility it served not only the society of chemists in Hungary but also the country s chemical industry and its companies.
