Printing output specifiers

The keyword is in the route section, line 1 of the input file. Lines 2, 3, and 4 are blank, comment, blank, respectively. Line 5 designates a charge of 1 and a spin multiplicity of 2 (a doublet). Line 6 specifies one atom as hydrogen, and line 7 specifies the second atom as hydrogen, attached to atom 1 at a distance of 1.32 A(2.49 bohr). Among several G2 energies printed out in about the last 25 lines of output are... 

Opens specified file and redirects PRINT and OUTPUT text to the file for post-mortem analysis. ENDFILE or SAVE will close the file. 

Steward s algorithm, thus, can help locate errors in formulating a model of a process by identifying the set of equations that contains improperly specified design variables or parameters. The fortran program listed in Appendix A prints out the equation numbers in the subset that contains fewer variables than equations when an output set cannot be found. 

To start the printout operation the Print... option in the Output pull-down menu is used. If there is more than one window on the screen choosing the Print... option - and using the mouse - allows you to specify the window which should be plotted. If all windows should be plotted, use the Print all option. With Printer Setup... a variety of output device specific parameters defining the resolution, the paper size and other printer variables, may be set.

First, the outputs or end results of the system must be clearly defined. In many environments, both the format and content of that output is critical. For example, a specific EPA water-testing project may require reporting of lead values, and may also require that those values be printed in a specific location block on a specified form. All outputs should be unambiguously defined, generally through modeling the actual reports or screens that will be required.

The hardware components must interact to form a composite system, and the exact nature of all these interactions must be set out in the specification. The precise relationship between the inputs and outputs of each function must be specified. Once this has been done, hardware must be bought or built to produce modules that carry out these functions. This can be done at the level of integrated circuit components, printed circuit boards, or boxed systems, depending upon the application. 

This calculation is readily implemented via spreadsheet. The output is shown in Figure 2.33. The spreadsheet solution enables the user to specify a release height and any location in x, y, z) space. Furthermore, the spreadsheet prints results for all stability classes. Note that the concentration is reduced to 8 ppm for urban conditions with F-stability. 

Visualization options for quantum calculations include both three-dimensional isosurfaces and two-dimensional contour plots for molecular orbitals, total charge density, electrostatic potential, and spin density. The electrostatic potential can be color-mapped onto a three-dimensional charge density isosurface. Isosurface rendering methods include wire mesh, Jorgensen-Salem, transparent and solid surfaces, and Gouraud shaded surfaces. Electronic energy levels, electronic absorption spectra, and vibrational absorption spectra can be displayed. Animation of vibrational modes and display of normal-mode displacement vectors are also available. These features are flexible and allow for user control of most display options. A standard text output file with user-specified print level is also produced on request.
