Color mapping

Molecular surfaces can express various chemical and physical properties, such as electrostatic potential, atomic charges or hydrophobicity, using colored mapping.

At least one toroidal polyhex that is cell-complex exists for all numbers of vertices v > 14. The unique cell-complex toroidal fullerene at v = 14 is a realization of the Heawood graph. It is GC2,i(hexagon) in terms of Goldberg-Coxeter construction and is the dual of K7, which itself realizes the 7-color map on the torus. This map and its dual are shown in Figure 3.1.

The network reference book may be prepared to a high standard, with color maps and diagrams. 

Automatic Color Mapping selects the best color shading combinations among sixteen shades of simulated color in order to achieve optimal color contrast for audience pleasing projected images.

Near-IR light in the 1100- to 2500-nm range was transmitted through the concentrator onto the exterior arterial wall. The scattered light was detected at the proximal end of the CPC by lead sulfide detectors, located off axis of the incident beam. False color maps are then produced wherein the types and amounts of each type of plaque are determined.
