Coated or laminated paper products represent a significant potential market for biodegradable polymers. At present, packaging such as hamburger wrapping and disposable cups, are extrusion coated with low density polyethylene film that is resistant to biodegradation. This also restricts the biodegradation of the paper substrate since it acts as an impervious barrier.

To prepare overhead transparencies for oral presentations, you can use spirit-based markers and acetate sheets. ISIS/Draw includes full annotation capabilities, which enable researchers to label collections of atoms or bonds with related function or process information (6).

The key point to consider when selecting suitable software of this type is whether it will accept data directly from the other packages being used. Having to retype data, particularly numeric data, is tedious and error prone, and it is preferable to have a word processor and presentation package which will read data directly from the output of the other packages in use.
