Prescribing differences

Fastness to Light. The ISO test for colorfastness to light is DajlightlSO 105-B01. The textile specimen is exposed to daylight under prescribed conditions, including protection from rain, along with a series of blue wool reference samples that fade at defined, prescribed, different rates. 

A series of atom types, defining the characteristics of an element within a specific chemical context. Atom types prescribe different characteristics and behavior for an element depending upon its environment. For example, a carbon atom in a carbonyl is treated differently than one bonded to three hydrogens. The atom type depends on hybridization, charge and the types of the other atoms to which it is bonded. 

The overall mean chlorpromazine-equivalents per day (CPZe) dose prescribed differed significantly, with lower dosing in Thailand compared with Malaysia and Australia (p < 0.001) (see Table 11.4). Pairwise comparisons revealed that the mean typical antipsychotic dose was significantly higher in Malaysia compared with Thailand (p < 0.001) and NWMH (p < 0.001). There were significant differences observed (p < 0.001) while comparisons of the mean atypical antipsychotic dose showed that Australia was significantly higher compared with Thailand (p < 0.001) and Malaysia (p < 0.001). 

Note that any given value of o (or prescribed difference between the two diagonal elements) results in two different sets of degenerate solutions in Eq. (9), one of which should be unphysical (for more on this see Ref. [14]). 

A number of different health professional groups may qualify as supplementary prescribers and are able to prescribe medicinal products on the NHS. Different supplementary prescribers are able to prescribe different medicinal products depending on their area(s) of expertise. 

For other NHS prescribers, differing restrictions have been placed on their prescribing. These prescribers can be divided into dentists (see Section 3.2.2), community practitioner nurse prescribers (see Section 3.2.3), supplementary prescribers (see Section 3.2.4) and independent non-medical prescribers (see Section 3.2.5). 

Baker Norton has launched another solution HFA-134a BDP preparation in certain countries, which is recommended as a direct microgram-for-micro-gram replacement for CFC-BDP (89). This is surprising, as the particle size and dose delivered from this preparation is similar to that of the 3M HFA preparation described above. Serum cortisol levels taken at 9 a.m. were compared following very large doses of BDP-CFC or BDP-HFA 500 pg for 12 weeks. No statistical difference was found. It is likely that prescribing different doses of what appear to be similar HFA-BDP solutions will cause confusion. 

Minimum exposure times must be observed in order to reach the requisite S/N ratio. As per EN 1435 and EN 584-1, for the different ranges of utilization (energy, wall thickness), definite film elasses are prescribed. They are characterized by the minimum gradient-to-noise ratios. Based on this, one can calculate the minimum values for the S/N ratio based on the IP systems. The exposure time and the device parameter sensitivity and dynamics (latitude) must be adjusted accordingly, with an availability of an at least 12 bit system for the digitalization.

Samples that contain suspended matter are among the most difficult types from which to obtain accurate pH readings because of the so-called suspension effect, ie, the suspended particles produce abnormal Hquid-junction potentials at the reference electrode (16). This effect is especially noticeable with soil slurries, pastes, and other types of colloidal suspensions. In the case of a slurry that separates into two layers, pH differences of several units may result, depending on the placement of the electrodes in the layers. Internal consistency is achieved by pH measurement using carefully prescribed measurement protocols, as has been used in the determination of soil pH (17). 

Organisms evolving under aimual temperature cycles and in environments with varying temperatures spatially have incorporated thermal cues in reproductive behavior, habitat selection, and certain other features which act at the population level. Thus, the balance of births and mortaUties, which determines whether a species survives, is akin to the metaboHc balance at the physiological level in being dependent upon the match, within certain limits, to prescribed temperatures at different times of year. At the ecosystem level, relationships among species, eg, predators, competitors, prey animals, and plant foods, are related to environmental temperatures in complex ways. Many of these interactions are poorly understood.
