VAc has been successfully polymerized via controlled/ living radical polymerization techniques including nitroxide-mediated polymerization, organometallic-mediated polymerization, iodine-degenerative transfer polymerization, reversible radical addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization, and atom transfer radical polymerization.
