Planning core activities

Company X has two manufacturing sites within its overall group of manufacturing activities which it decides are outside its core interests and wishes to sell to raise capital to fund future development. It is planned that the capital produced in the sale will allow the acquisition of other manufacturing activities that are more akin to the core activities.
