Pixel resolution

The pixel resolution is 50 pm or 25 pm. Unfortunately (from the point of NDT), the max. IP-size is limited to 20 x 25 cm. The max. image size amounts to 160 MByte. Both systems are equipped with new types of IP s. [Pg.469]

The cross-correlation function G is thus the transformed image intensity pattern displaced with respect to the origin by the average displacement coordinates. The peak position is found with sub-pixel resolution by means of a Gaussian interpolator as described by Lourenco and Krothapalli [8]. [Pg.288]

Fig. 20. Spin density, and water diffusion images for a 2.2-inm-diameter, spherical silica catalyst support pellet. In-plane pixel resolution was 45 pm x 45 pm image slice thickness was 0.3 mm. (a) Spin-density map lighter shades indicate higher liquid content, (b) map (150 00 ms) lighter shades indicate longer values of Ti. (c) Diffusivity map ((0-1.5) x 10 m s ) lighter shades indicate higher values of water diffusivity within the pellet. Fig. 20. The AFM equipments used were conducted with a Nanoscope III device from VEECO (USA). The membrane morphologies were imaged in contact mode in air with a scan rate of 1 Hz and 400 x 400-pixel resolution. The cantilevers used for such imaging were from Veeco, with a specified spring constant between 0.44 and 0.63 Nm-1 and a resonant frequency of 17-20 kHz. The mean roughness (denoted Ra) is the mean value of surface relative to the centre plane. The plane for which the volume enclosed by the image above and below this plane are equal and is calculated as... [Pg.66]

Advanced 640 x 480 (VGA graphics) and 720 x 400 (VGA Text) Pixel Resolution assures sharp, detailed image projection. [Pg.119]

Some of the sairqjles was analysed with a Topometrix Discoverer AFM unit. Two examples are shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4, which correspond to respectively non-agglomerated and agglomerated random samples taken at 4e summer shut down of the boiler in 1998. The upper parts of the pictures shows the atomic force micrograph and the lower parts the topography of the sample, The analysed area is 20 20 pm with a 400 400 pixel resolution. [Pg.828]

The step size is given by the size of the scan area and the pixel resolution of the image . Tire acquired signal - either the voltage needed to move the tip up and down in z direction (constant current mode) or the tunneling current itself (con-... [Pg.347]

The digital resolution or the pixel resolution of an NMR image can be much higher than the actual spatial resolution. The former is essentially defined like the digital resolution... [Pg.64]

The sampling point spread function pixel resolution is 21% more coarse than the nominal resolution. While it is not possible in the SPRITE experiment to introduce slice selection with radiofrequency pulses, physical slice selection with good edge definition is possible by using a moveable, metallic radiofrequency shield to restrict excitation/detection to a defined region of the sample. ... [Pg.164]

For carbon-black filled SBR, T2 is directly proportional to temperature. Thus, a T2-parameter image corresponds to a temperature image of the sample. Axial parameter projections have been acquired in dynamic equilibrium at a shear rate of 10 Hz, and a pixel resolution of 0.4 x 0.4 mm, for SBR cylinders with carbon-black contents ranging from 0-50 phr. ID cross-sections through those projections are depicted in Fig. 5.12. An increase of temperature in the center of the sample is observed with increasing carbon-... [Pg.150]
