Personal profiles constructing

The interface may be self-adaptive, noting the identity of the user each time they log in to use the system and tracking the interactions that follow, learning about the level of expertise of the user, and building up a personal profile of them so that the approach of the ES can be tailored to them individually. This is sometimes apparent in the Help system on a PC, which is usually based around a type of ES. Since the level of knowledge, experience, and confidence among PC users varies widely, if a Help system is to be of the greatest value, it is wise to construct it so that it can adjust its approach and presentation to match the level of expertise of the user. 

There are three parts to the exercise ranking your activity preferences, constructing and interpreting your personal profile, and comparing your profile with others—especially a life partner or friend. Complete one step at a time please do not jump ahead. 

PART II CONSTRUCTING AND INTERPRETING YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE... 

Now that you have indicated your activity preferences, you have the fun of constructing your personal profile. 

The national e-Health Informatics System dynamically retrieves Jane s health records from various places where Jane has ever visited (e.g., physician s office system, hospitals, diagnostic labs) based on Jane s global person identifier and dynamically constructs an integrated health record up to date from birth, which includes Jane s genetic profiles and lifestyle data. The physician then analyzes Jane s personal health record for analysis of clinical and treatment history. 

Firstly, with each WP is associated an effort, measured e.g. in the number of person-hours (estimated or actually) required to perform the work (this may be subdivided into disciplines). This provides a relationship between resourcing and duration of the WP. Secondly, besides manpower, many WPs will require other resources, such as computer time, manufacturing facilities, construction equipment, test facilities, and so on. Thirdly, with each WP we can associate a risk profile in terms of the maturity of the technology employed, the experience of the allocated personnel, etc, and there are numerous other fields that can be added to this project data base. Finally, as each WP is defined in terms of its outputs and the inputs required to deliver these outputs, this defines the interfaces between the WPs (and the interaction of the project with its environment, in the form of project inputs and deliverables). This then provides the description of the work as a system, i.e. as a set of elements with particular interactions and thereby a particular structure. This, and not the hierarchical structure of the WBS, is the structure of the work as a system, and the temporal aspect of this structure is what is usually called the project program.
