Perfection crystalline index

Variations of k must be compared with variations in a Perfection Crystalline Index (IPC) obtained according to Dumbleton s method, from the 010 and 100 peaks (7). IPC increases rapidly after heat treatments. An increase of this index is proof of a progressive transformation from a pseudohexagonal phase in the initial sample (disturbed as seen from the k value) decreasing to give a less disturbed triclinic phase after thermal treatment ...

H and 0(6)H, there has been no evidence of the restriction of reactivity of 0(2)H by involvement in a hydrogen bond. The measured availability of 0(2)H serves, therefore, as a suitable basis for indexing availabilities of 0(3)H and 0(6)H. From actual measurements on crystalline celluloses, relative availabilities of 0(3)H have ranged downwards from 0.9 to as low as 0.05(20,22), suggesting a limiting value of zero for this availability on a perfectly ordered crystalline surfeK e. 

Ti02 particles in HDPE matrix aid the polymer chains in crystalhzing into more perfect and thermally stable lamella. The number of nucleation sites is dramatically increased and the crystal size decreased. The solar reflectance was related to the degree of crystallinity, the spherulite size of HDPE, refractive index, and distribution of Ti02 particles in HDPE matrix.
