The present invention provides a wheel cover which improves the aerodynamic properties of the hub-rim-spoke wheels. The wheel cover of the present invention is preferably made of a light weight synthetic or natural polymer, fabric or paper film which is adhesively applied to a wheel through simple manual application. In turn, the aerodynamic wheel cover of the present invention may also be easily removed and replaced to allow on-road repairs of spoke, hub, or rim. 

Patent laws provide for several stages in the life of an application for a patent on an invention. The pattern followed by patent laws in effect in most industrialized countries during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and still in effect in the United States in 1995, calls for the examination of all patent appHcations to certify that the claimed invention meets the national standards for novelty, usehilness, and inventiveness. The owner of the technology to be patented files appHcation papers that include a specification containing a description of the invention to be patented (called the disclosure) and claims defining the limits of the invention to be protected by the patent, a formal request for the issuance of a patent, and fees. Drawings of devices and apparatuses, electrical circuits, flow charts, etc, are an important part of the disclosures of most nonchemical and many chemical patents. 

Miner s Squib (PSjtard de Mineurs). One of the primitive devices which was invented by Daddow in Engl in 1874 for igniting blasting expls. It consists of a tapered paper tube, about 7 inches long, filled with fine gunpowd. One end of the tube is filled with chemicals, such as milled gunpowd mixed with either sulfur or sulfur and charcoal, so as to form a sort of slow match. 

For a thorough understanding of stereochemistry, it is useful to examine molecular models (like those depicted in Fig. 4.1). However, this is not feasible when writing on paper or a blackboard. In 1891, Emil Fischer greatly served the interests of chemistry by inventing the Fischer projection, a method of representing tetrahedral carbon atoms on paper. By this convention, the model is held so that the two bonds in front of the paper are horizontal and those behind the paper are vertical. 

A singly black developing leuco dye was ultimately realized by the invention of 2 -anilino-6 -diethylamino-3 -methylfluoran (12).6 Fluoran 12 skillfully utilizes the steric hindrance of a methyl group at 3 -position to develop black color (see discussion below). Practically all black developing fluoran compounds marketed today are derivatives of 12, though each has an individual characteristic, especially for use in thermosensitive recording papers.
