Paper coatings and sizes

It is used in adhesives, paper coating and sizing, and textile warp size and finishing applications. 

Low DS hydroxyethyl starches are used as paper coatings and sizes to improve sheet strength and stiffness. They are also employed as paper-coating color adhesives, and to increase fiber bonding in paper products. Hydroxyethylstarches are also used as textile warp sizes.

Uses Coating insolubilizer for pigmented paper coatings and size press applies. renders coating binders more hydrophobic, resulting in improved paper surf, str. allows reduction of starch solids resulting in improved bulk, opacity, smoothness component of paper/paperboard in contact with dry foods... 

Uses Defoamer for food processing, femnentation processes, paper coating and sizes, waste yeast tanks, nonfood washing sol ns, waste water systems, some latex emulsions...
