The user should be aware though of the presence of other functions in the matrix of the packing the initiator used, azobisisobutyronitrile, leaves a small amount of CN functions in the packings. Also, small amounts of alcohol functions cannot be excluded, especially as the packing ages. For most applications, these small amounts of residual side functions are of little concern. 

These polyamidoamines are available from several suppliers worldwide (Cognis (Veramide ), Arizona Chemical (Uni-Rez ), Air Products (Ancamide ), and others) and are among the most common curatives in the general-purpose, do-it-yourself two-pack-age epoxy adhesives. They have a distinctive odor somewhat like popcorn and are easily recognized in adhesive formulations. The polyamide backbone does contribute to the overall good mechanical properties of the polyamide amine cured adhesives.

Usually these properties have to be judged in relationship to a certain type of solute and/or container/pack-aging material or any other material with which the solvent comes in contact. 

An important application for polybntylene is plumbing pipe for both coimnercial and residential use. The exceUent creep resistance of polybntylene aUows for the manufacture of thiimer wall pipes compared to pipes made from polyethylene or polypropylene. Polybutylene pipe can also be used for the transport of abrasive fluids. Other applications for polybutylene include hot melt adhesives and additives for other plastics. The addition of polybutylene improves the environmental stress cracking resistance of polyethylene and the impact and weld line strength of polypropylene. Polybntylene is also used in pack aging applications. 

The main computer carries out data analysis aiu long-term bulk data storage by using a sofiware pack age such as those discussed in ihe next section. The op erator controls the overall process through interactions with the main computer. Using data-acquisition modules such as these, v irtually any instrument or experiment can he interfaced with a computer for efficient analysis and oulpiii of inslrumental data. 

In addition, 49 CFR 173.320 Cryogenic Liquid, Exceptions allows some cryogenic pack-agings to display UN numbers only (under certain conditions), but still requires oxygen pack-agings to display placards [1].
