The thiopyranofurans contain a six-membered sulfur heterocyclic ring and a five-membered oxygen heterocyclic ring (Table 10). Another common name for these isomers is furothiopyrans. Not much chemical literature exists regarding the thiopyranofuran compounds. [Pg.173]
