Orthopedic Tapes. In orthopedic applications, PSA products are most frequently used as tapes and elastic adhesive bandages. The tapes consist of a rigid backing material (e.g., cotton fabric) coated with the PSA. They are used in therapeutic medical applications to control motions and to immobilize and to stabilize joints in athletic use.
