Observation period

Inhalation should be avoided. A group of six rats that were exposed to 64,000 ppm of methyl vinyl ether in air for 4 h were anesthetized. AH recovered and appeared normal after 72 h. One died after 96 h. The others survived the 2-week observation period without noticeable effect. 

The primary intent of supervised field experience is for employees to be observed by the experienced person during the course of their workday to ensure that they are working safely. These 1- or 3-day observation periods allow the experienced person to observe the worker applying proper techniques and to emphasize site-specific hazards and special working conditions. The observation period includes some on-the-job training as a reinforcement of previous training received (see Figure 8-2) [1].

The phytotoxic effect may be due to interference with chlorophyll production or other metabolic processes. The observations noted in Table VI suggest that there is some recovery at 7 days from the conditions described in Table V for 5 days. However, this is not the case, since the same chlorotic effect is noted for the new fronds which were the first to emerge early in the observation period. This indicates that the phenomenon is due to the growth of new fronds which have not yet been exposed to the test media.

As can be seen in Figure 4a, incorporation of dDAVP in the liquid crystalline phase significantly prolongs the apparent half-life of the peptide. No decline in plasma dDAVP-LI was found during the observation period of five hours, and the level of dDAVP-LI in plasma thus seems to correlate with an apparent zero-order release process of dDAVP. No difference in plasma dDAVP-LI could be found between sc and im administration.

From the point-of-view of the theory, / Cephei-type stars in the LMC have to have larger-than-average metallicity. This is consistent with the observed periods for Z 0.0125.
