Reportable incidents from NPS and other nuclear installations which are notified to the Nil and reported to Parliament should be given much more urgent and wider media circulation, so that the public are given the facts at first hand rather than the speculative claims of the pressure groups. 

The DSIN also participates in interministerial exercises organized by the general secretariat of the interministerial committee for nuclear safety or by the prefects, to test co-ordination of the governmental authorities in the event of an incident or accident in a nuclear installation.
