Nested Packages

Packages themselves are subject to packaging as nested packages ( Section 7.5), and a special form of encapsulation and decoupling applies to them (Section 7.6). When packages have multiple imports, you must be careful about what it means to import like-named elements from two sources and sometimes must explicitly rename some elements (Section 7.7). 

Other (nested) packages—as a grouping and macro-visibility construct. 

Declarations Names that are declared in this package for types, actions, classes, invari- / ants, constants, and nested packages.2... 

A nested package scheme could be understood as a convenient abbreviation for an unnested import structure, with additional scoping of nested package names. To translate to flattened form, qualify each package s name with that of its container and then import container packages (see Figure 7.20). 

Nested packages alleviate name conflicts. But whenever imports are used a complication arises when two packages are imported from different authors who happen to have used the same name for different things. BluePhone might find it useful to import a ready-made accountancy model but what accountancy calls an Account (of our company with the bank) might be different from what the Billing department calls an Account (of one of our customers with us). In that case, we don t want the two types to be confused. 

Semantic rules are expressed as templates a dialect contains nested packages for its semantic rules. Each rule translates a slightly higher-level notation into its equivalent lower-level one. Here, any line between two type boxes that contains an explicit stereotype means the same as inverse attributes (see Figure 9.41). So what should an association line mean if it has no stereotype tag To define a default, you identify the untagged feature with the appropriate tag9 (see Figure 9.42). 

The skeleton of any monitor is implemented in the generic Monitor package. It implements the synchronised event readers and the periodic monitoring task as two private nested packages. This isolates the monitor from the external world, forbidding any external component to generate new monitoring tasks or synchronised event readers that could mess with the synchronisation variable of the monitor and hence with its correct behaviour. 

Sibling packages (nested within the same container as itself their names are directly visible, because it implicitly imports its container). For example, Billing can import Taxes. 

Packages nested within those it has imported. For example, Billing can import Products. 

A large fraction of the substances used in inks will not permeate through the printed substrate because their molecular size is large and so diffusion is slow. These substances will not come into contact with (and possibly contaminate) the packaged food unless set-off occurs when the printed surface touches the food-contact surface, such as when films are stored on reels or when printed containers are stored stacked or nested. Of course, printers constantly inspect the quality of their work and are alert to the possibility of set-off. But visual examination will detect only the coloured pigments and dyes. The uncoloured, invisible, components of inks go undetected and there is a need to minimise any set-off of these invisible components onto the food contact surface of the packaging material. 

The G-BASE project has used several statistical packages to perform this nested ANOVA analysis (e.g., Minitab and SAS). It currently uses an MS Excel procedure with a macro based on the equations described by Sinclair (1983) in which the ANOVA is performed on results converted to logio (Johnson, 2002). Ramsey et al. (1992) suggest that the combined analytical and sampling variance should not exceed 20% of the total variance with the analytical variance ideally being <4%. 

US EPA has developed a benchmark dose software package that provides various models for quantal, continuous, and nested data (developmental toxicity study results). The software can be downloaded from US EPA s website (see section Relevant Websites) free of charge, and it is frequently updated. This website also provides support documentation, including a software user s manual and a guidance document on the interpretation and use of BMD modeling. 

Recycling in 1998 Neste recycled 4600 tons of waste and 10700 tons of other by-products. Although there is little emphasis on recycling in the CER, a yes score has been awarded in view of the high proportion of waste recycled to that disposed, and because of initiatives such as the increased use of bulk deliveries and reusable packaging. 

To produce multilayer and multicolor extrudates, for example for cable sheathing, packaging films with barrier layers and/or recycled layers, two to seven extruders can be fitted with multiple-layer blown film fittings with the same number of nesting spiral mandrels to distribute the melt flows (Fig. 20).

For lyophilized product that is ETO sterilized, packaging is simple a permeable Ty vek pouch with a sanitary chevron seal common and readily accepted in the operating room (OR). They are likely double packaged with nested inner and outer Tyvek pouches. The outer package is opened in the OR. The inner pouch, which is sterile both inside and outside, is aseptically transferred onto the sterile field.
