Andrew Weil, M.D., raised and educated in Philadelphia, received an A.B. degree in biology from Harvard College in 1964 and an M.D, degree from Harvard Medical School in 1968. Dr. Weil is Associate Director of the Division of Social Perspectives in Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and has a private practice in natural and preventive medicine in Tucson. It is remarkable that cultures native to the American continent knew about a relatively large number of natural mind-altering substances compared to early cultures that evolved in Europe or Asia. Botanical evidence does not support the notion that Europe is home to fewer hallucinogenic plants than other regions. Furthermore, the growing number of recently discovered European mushroom species containing psilocybin indicate a flourishing psychotropic mycoflora in Europe similar to those found in other countries.

Because of the existence of numerous isomers, hydrocarbon mixtures having a large number of carbon atoms can not be easily analyzed in detail. It is common practice either to group the constituents around key components that have large concentrations and whose properties are representative, or to use the concept of petroleum fractions. It is obvious that the grouping around a component or in a fraction can only be done if their chemical natures are similar. It should be kept in mind that the accuracy will be diminished when estimating certain properties particularly sensitive to molecular structure such as octane number or crystallization point.

These local representations, so-called as only a portion of the FES is examined at each point in time, have a classical flavor. The delocalized and nonlocal nature of the full solution of the Schtddinger equation should, however, be kept in mind.

The toxic nature of methyl sulfate vapor must always be borne in mind. 

Seismic zone basis must be specified for structural design. Soil data is important, especially for cases where extensive use of foundation piling is required with major cost impact. Availability of aggregate or natural pond stabilization materials near the site will not be considered for early cost estimates, but can be kept in mind for future planning if the project is given the green light.
